Review of Jason X (2001) by Tim G — 02 Jun 2011
The most amazing part of this whole undertaking is that the movie didn't actually turn out that bad. The idea alone is what we all find stupid. Jason Vorhees...IN SPACE. But as its built itself on a long, long lineage of 'Friday' films, they don't need to waste time on explaining the threat of Vorhees, they hold to the continuity of the series (pre-jason goes to hell) and they even brought Kane Hodder back to play Jason.
It's actually one of the better films in the friday the 13th saga. And, realistically, no more ridiculous than Jason battling a psychic teenager with telekinetic powers.
