Review of In a Dark Place (2006) by Gabriele B — 11 Jun 2009
...that was one of the best movies in this genre I've ever seen...I found no mistakes in it and it wasn't forseeable like most of the other movies with plots like this...I don't want to talk much about the plot itself, cause it would take all the suspense away...
I liked the actors a lot, Leelee Sobieski was wonderful in her role as governess and also Tara Fitzgerald, her transformation throughout the movie was great...also the two children where nice and there where some good shockeffects in the movie, but without any splatter or gore in it...
The plot was well developed and took you always to a point where you think you know everything and the story revealed another piece and than you realize you where on the wrong path...and I really loved the ending, for some people it seems a bit confusing, but I think there couldn't be a better end than that...
Definitively a movie that is highly recommendable...
