Review of Humoresque (1947) by Brian M — 27 Mar 2008
Many really incredible pieces that don't quite add up to a great film. It's very ahead of its time in many ways, and Crawford and Garfield do some excellent work, but the movie's a little too ambitious, and doesn't achieve everything it sets out to.
Still, I did like this movie a lot. It has plenty to recommend it.
