Review of Hombre (1967) by Scott S — 20 Jun 2010
Very overrated film. newman is obviously a cause celeb for many reasons but this picture is not one of them. it's droll, dull, and pendantic. newman never misses to spew his holistic red-brother psychology like an apache jung and it gets a bit wearing.
richard boone, not especially known for his theatrical dynamics actually provides the energy for the film.
