Review of Holy Motors (2012) by Jack K — 19 Dec 2012
Holy Motors is about performance in our everyday lives, and the weariness and fatigue that comes with performing for so many people. But it's also a fascinating look at the death of analog and the rise of the digital revolution.
The film seems to suggest that we spend our days moving around from appointment to appointment, isolated in our own white limos. We're all becoming obsolete, and for that matter, so are the limos, too.
