Review of Harry Brown (2009) by Satya P — 30 May 2014
In "Harry Brown'' , Michael Caine plays an ex British marine who can no longer stand for the evil that lurks in the tunnel. So, he takes matters into his own hands. Caine does a brilliant and emotional performance, and kicks some ass.
It's a dark and gritty film, and its filmed beautifully. Its shows the reality and evilness of society at its worst, and isn't afraid to be nasty and disturbing. That is the reality of gangs and drugs and what they lead too.
