Tatsuya Nakadai is my favorite japanese actor and if you watch this film you will see why. This is easily one of his best performances. The acting is top notch,great samurai story filled with surprises, and a great score. Overall a perfect movie.
Be warned if you have a weak stomach.. there is a lot of gruesome scenes in this film.
