Review of Gypo (2005) by Stuart B — 25 Mar 2007
A dogme? set in shitty thanet? in kent where I grew up? oh yes please! it's surprisingly good and is compelling viewing with the film being divided into three parts, with the one story being shown from the each of the three different characters' perspectives.
it deals with real issues of our attitudes to other people and how crap our own lives are and how badly we deal with it. great performances from the three leads as well, especially paul mcgann.
