Horror is one of my favorite genres of movies so naturally I have seen a ton of them. Most horror movies don't scare me but Grave Encounters was one of the few that had me legitimately frightened. I'm not a huge fan of found footage horror films but they did this one right.
They didn't go for too much and it paid off by keeping me on the edge of my seat instead of getting to the point where it became cheesy. One of the best horror movies I have seen in quite a while.
Definitely watch this if you are looking for a genuinely scary movie. 9/10.
