Review of Ghoulies (1985) by Justin E — 12 Mar 2009

Unfairly passed off as a cheap rip off of Gremlins, which came out a year previous...the comparisons basically end at the subplot of tiny creatures terrorizing yuppies...this film has a fun plot, lots of black comedy, awesome '80's dialogue, and the ridiculous puppets running around causing all kinds of shit only add to the overall viewing experience.

..take the stick out of your ass for an hour and a half and enjoy!! its just too bad this movie was cut down by 15 minutes for its pg-13 rating, and a director's cut has yet to surface..heres hopin'.
