Review of Gamer (2009) by Milt K — 13 Feb 2011

Wow at first glance in the first scene I thought of gamer as a live-action reversed version of a video game kinda like the popular video game "The Sims" but in the film players control the characters in the game which are real people but man! this movie is action packed and high tech at least the look and feel of the film plus It's got great characters for instance Terry Crews's character crazy ass motherfucker, but then there's Gerard Butler's character is a bad ass solider but the world of gamer comes blurred between reality and the virtual game world or at least interactive where the gamer and character become one Plus I love the use of technology in gamer really high tech stuff and I gotta say gamer is a pretty bad ass movie and overall I loved the story and concept of the movie and very much enjoyed the performances from the cast plus the movie takes on a whole new meaning of what it means to be a gamer.
