Review of Fiesta (1947) by Freddy M — 05 Dec 2015
One of the silliest of all MGM musicals, and certainly a low-point in the career of Esther Williams, but it still managed to make a bundle of money due to Williams' popularity at the box office; the American film debut of Ricardo Montalban - he and Cyd Charisse do a fiery dance together.
The film also incorporated Aaron Copland's "El Salon Mexico" into its score.
