Review of Fata Morgana (1972) by Derrick P — 24 May 2008
Shit, this movie features two of my favorite things: Herzog's images and Leonard Cohen. Herzog achieves a meditative tone I've rarely experienced in a movie. My body was pinned to the seat and I didn't move for two hours.
Follow this one up with his "Lessons of Darkness." Hopefully "Encounters at the End of the World" will join this group of peculiar "documentaries.".
