Review of Farewell, My Queen (2012) by Begum E — 09 Aug 2013
This film is one of the best interpretations of Marie-Antoinette and the French Revolution ever conceived, in my opinion. The cast portrayed each character with dignity and elegance. The only small detail I found somewhat off-putting was both the ages of the king and queen.
Diane Kruger played Marie-Antoinette beautifully but I felt she was a bit too old, but other than that, the film was masterfully crafted and cinematically full talent.
