Review of Exporting Raymond (2011) by Brenton A — 18 Nov 2011
Exporting Raymond contains many elements of the age-old "stranger in a strange land" tale, many of which are played up for easy but effective laughs. Easy but effective was of course always the modus operandi of Eveybody Loves Raymond, a tactic that breeds immediate familiarity but precludes anything groundbreaking.
The same can be said for this film, and as such, it is probably only appropriate for fans of the show.
