Review of Exodus (1960) by Carlos M — 15 Jul 2016
I first saw this movie in 1960, when it premiered in south Miami Beach. I was convinced at the end of the movie that it was only an intermission, because the movie only covers the first half of the book. Yet, in spite of that, it was a marvelous movie and VERY true to the book by Leon Uris.
I just watched this movie again recently, and I found it to be equally as compelling, equally as exciting, emotional, thrilling, sad, desperate and victorious.
There is no question that this is one of the greatest movies about Israel ever made, and, without doubt, the best of all of the movies about the creation of the state of Israel.
I rate this movie Five Stars and a MUST SEE.
