Review of Everything Will Be OK (2006) by Dfh D — 08 Nov 2007
An amazing philosophical, and almsot stream-of-concsiousness look at the inner thoughts, isolation, and confusion of insanity... Or something.
Unlike a fair amount of Hertzfeldt's other works, this isn't exactly a comedy. It's also much more story oriented than most. It is still darkly comic, but the concentration is on Bill's strange life, and the awesomely achieved magic-lantern-like photography.
I dunno-- to reiterate: Tradional animation is not dead!
