Will Ferrell was terrific as Nick, an alcoholic who actually manages to get his life together after his wife leaves him and puts all of his stuff out on the lawn in an attempt to get him to leave. He refuses and lives on the lawn for awhile, befriending a neighborhood boy in the process.
Very good film.
