Review of Elves (1989) by Drago? C — 28 Jun 2013
I had high hopes that Elves would be an undiscovered gem in the turdpile of bad movies that are so bad they're good. Well I was right, but I would say that I was a little disappointed. It wasn't a laugh riot like I thought it was going to be, especially after seeing the trailer.
That's not to say that you can't find some enjoyment in this because you can, but I think it took itself a little more seriously than I would have liked. It should be sillier than it is. I mean, come on, you're dealing with an insane plot about Nazis trying to take over the world with superhuman elves.
If only it would have been a little more over the edge I would have enjoyed it much more. Don't take my word for it though. Just check it out and make up your own mind.
