Review of Elling (2001) by Jess M — 01 Jul 2007
The results of the director's efforts were flabbergasting. "Elling" takes the idea of reality and cracks it open to its barest form. Tender, comical, and sweet, Elling is a cute little Norwegian with intense anxiety.
The simplest task of walking solo across a restaurant floor is challenging for him. You can't help but be drawn into his escapades as Elling learns a new meaning of life.
