Review of Electra Glide in Blue (1973) by Jonathan S — 11 Aug 2008
A smokin hot movie! brilliant visuals of the arizona desersts. robert blake be a wife killer knower days, but back then he was wintergreen. an aspiring detective. the film has so many layers. it looks closely at the hero's actions, weather they are good or bad.
his asperations and dreams. but also coments on the 1970's paranoid post vietnam culture.the panoramic views of the arizona desert are beaitufull. it may be a tradgedy, but it has a superb soundtrack and good humour.
Perhaps an early insperation too hot fuzz, this movie a must see for any cop movie fan.
