Review of Dororo (2007) by Mercedes S — 13 Aug 2009
I had my doubts, but once I got into the story it was compelling. I could watch the character play out on the screen as if they were in the novel they originated from. I sat watching, thinking, "Wow, this would be a great comic," only to find that it was.
The relationship between Dororo and Hyakkimaru is something special. The concept of the story is quite interesting, each monster introduced is more innovative than the next. The visuals entertain as well as the spicy little ruffian known as "Dororo".
