Review of Dog Eat Dog (2016) by Jak-Luke S — 23 Jul 2017
The three lead performances have great depth and charisma throughout, all have a great deal of emotional range and all being a select charm to each character. Dafoe and Cage in-particular bring their A-game as does Schrader, who unleashes a strong amount of energy within the film with the edit and script running rampant.
The film looses its way by the third act, with the film opening a few plot holes and not really knowing what direction to head into and writes itself into a hole with only one predictable outcome.
