Review of Dead and Deader (2006) by Shane J — 26 May 2009

Well, this is pure b-movie schlock and isn?t ashamed to front it. It has cheesy dialogue that just lacks the glance into the camera, and it was definitely intentional because a lot of it are attempts at comedy. The gore is everywhere, but they are trying to get creative with the zombie damage ? and it delivers. Acting, well?Dead Cain?s alright. Plot, no need for one really.

Overall, this is a standard b-movie that doesn?t disappoint, as long as you are expecting a pure b-movie experience. Thankfully, no gratuitous nudity in this one and no sad attempts at over the top CG effects that look like they were made on an 80?s computer. But everything else to be expected from a b-movie.
