Review of Critters (1986) by Crystal K — 24 Jun 2010
This is for the first two Critters movies. And I am very very drunk at the moment and Ive just listened to fictional hair metaller Johnny Steeles 'Power of the Night' for the 5th time today, but damn these movies are awesome!!!!
Basically hairy alien/gremlin creatures escape captivitey and a pair of bounty hunters are dispatched to take them down. A farmhouse family get caught in the middle and shit is awesome! The bounty hunters change shape and one transforms into said fictional rocker Johnny Steele. And if a hair metaller blasting aliens doesnt interest you then...why do I know you?
Critters 2 just continues the plot with the added bonus of the other bounty hunter continuously taking the form of a playboy girl.
Of note the 3rd movie features the debut of Leonardo Dicaprio. And the 4th...is in space... Critters 1 & 2 though. Gold! Brilliant films! The Crites (critters) are brilliant!
