Be advised that if you watch this expecting a conventional horror flick, you will be disappointed. Simply go into it expecting Del Toro to do what he does best: deliver hauntingly beautiful cinematography with a uniquely written story.
If you put aside all genre notions and let Del Toro work you will not be disappointed.
