Once again, Torrent is a gift. The morbid behavior is at times forced upon her by unseen adult hands. However, moments such as showing her grandmother images of her past to music or creating an imagined moment with her mother only to be tortured to tears by her memory go unsurpassed in depictions of a child's surreal world.
