Review of Creation (2009) by Nick G — 08 Jul 2010
Undoubtedly my favorite period drama. The film not only humanizes one of the greatest scientists who ever existed, but also expertly dramatizes the conflict between faith and fact. Even if one chooses to ignore the parts of the film concerning the theory of natural selection and its conflict with Genesis, the film still presents an amazingly well executed story of a family struggling to cope with the loss of a child.
All-around, Creation is a cinematic masterpiece.
