Review of Country Strong (2010) by Brittany F — 19 May 2011
Contrary to what most critcs say I thought this movie was great. Paltrow can pull off belting out those songs, as well as every othe actor turned singer for this film. Cliche and predictable at points, but I don't mind those moments because they help the film come full circle.
The music makes for a great soundtrack, and the romances in the film make for a few tearjerking moments as well. I don't buy dvd's but this is a movie I will buy for myself to watch again.
