Review of Contempt (1963) by Wesley J — 04 Jun 2007
Not, in my opinion, the best Godard (My Life to Live) or even the most fun (Une Femme est Une Femme), but it might be the most beautiful. Set on the Mediterannean coast and starring both Brigitte Bardot and Fritz Lang (not one of the most well-known pairings).
Also, Jack Palance delivers my favorite non-Belmondo role in a Godard film as well.
