Review of Contempt (1963) by Fredrik K — 05 Feb 2008
A brilliant depiction of the illusionary power of cinema and human relations under the bright light of sun, which Godard so skillfully exploits to expose his characters' inner truth. Of high artistic quality is particularly the interlocution in the early minutes of the movie between Lang and Prokosch.
