Review of Clockers (1995) by Nick G — 16 Nov 2008
Definately my favorite of Spike Lee's films. Perhaps, like "Summer of Sam", because it doesn't feel as though he's using the film as a way to beat people about the head with yet another MESSAGE! Its a film first with some pertenant points made along the way.
Mekhi Pfifer holds his own with some big guns in a film where the acting and directing is spot on.
