Review of Ciao! Manhattan (1973) by Chelsea S — 06 Nov 2007

You wont enjoy this movie if you go into it expecting a great story or a work of art. However, if you want to see a captivating image of the sixties and the strange story of Edie Sedgwick then you will greatly appreciate this film.

Originally they shot the movie as individual unscripted shorts and then attempted to tie them together and find some sort of story. A lot of it was pretty ineffective and pretty ludicrous as far as a plot goes.

I think this movie is a great picture of the underground sixties scene in all of it's glory.
