Review of Churchill: The Hollywood Years (2004) by Scott G — 04 Mar 2008
Slater plays churchill, a hollywood version of wartime british prime minister, but herehes a american one man army, taking on all comers, in the name of america and freedom, yes hollywood remaking history, it always happens but here actually co financed by a british company, a bit of a laugh is trying to be made, funny in parts, sometimes hits the mark, but also doesnt, quite brief also which helps, many british comedy, and tv stars turn out, in a interesting story, one ctual highlight being neve cambell playing a gun ho queen elizebeth in her youth, and ready for action, slater, is charming as churchill.
