A great performance by Brian Cox. But that's really the only great thing about it. It's historically inaccurate, Churchill supported the D Day landings when they happened, after legitimate concerns before.
The film sets out with a clear objective of making him appear incompetent, and changes what happened to achieve this. This could have been a landmark film, I expect it will be received well by some who want to believe it, but for me it's a big lie.
