The outrageous social comedy Chief Zabu is a cleverly written story about a pair of intensely energetic New York real-estate men who make a deal with the chief of a Polynesian island in hopes of fulfilling the American dream.
Although it was filmed in the 1980's, it was strategically released this year and just in time for the presidential election. Neil Cohen and Zack Norman truly have outdone themselves by including timeless humor in every scene.
I especially loved the intelligently hilarious dialogue and chemistry between the lead actors, Zack Norman and Allen Garfield. This socio-political satire is unlike anything I have seen in quite some time and I highly recommend giving this quick-witted film a watch.
