Review of Cemetery Junction (2010) by Daniel A — 01 May 2010
Ok, let me start by saying I was forced to go watch this by a friend who told me "Its going to be hilarious!" A claim I hear everytime I want to go watch a movie with this person. However this time he was totally correct!
In the way most modern comedy films are funny, yet void of direction and plot due because there constantly trying to be ridiculous and make the audience laugh, Cemetry Junction is totally plot driven, and it is formost a totally feel good coming of age experience that is under-reprisented by british film makers, The fact it almost makes you wet yourself along the way with its clever characterisation and dialogue is a fantastic added bonus.
The reason that the film was such an engrossing experience way primarily because of the way it made you truely care about every choice each character made, even lesser characters were involved and intriguing.
