I'm usually not one for slow, drawn-out dramas like this one (action/thrillers are more my style) but Todd Haynes weaved the story of two people falling in love so well I can't look away.
Cate Blanchett is of course mesmerizing as always but I think Rooney Mara is the scene stealer. She portrays this character (meek, shy, introverted) so brilliantly that I still can't reconcile with the fact that she played Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
To wrap it up, the soundtrack just completes the entire package.
