Review of Byzantium (2013) by Lauren L — 22 Sep 2012
Byzantium isn't really a vampire movie (though, of course, it is that). It's really a movie about different strategies on how to be a woman and have a meaningful life in a world that is hostile to you having that.
Don't let this scare you, but it is a feminist film (with a capital F), and I think it's definitely worth watching.
