One of my favourite all-time movies!! Vincent Cassel is amazing as the one-armed, bitter Jean-Francois. Mark Dacascos rocks as the Native American warrior. The scenes in the bordello were tantalizingly sensual.
Samuel Le Bihan was perfect as the clever, witty hero. And Monica Belluci... well she stole the show right out from under all of them with her incredible sensuality and magnetism. It's a very violent film, with an epic struggle of humans rising above animals (or not).
A maginificent fight scene between Dacascos and two female warriors is a must-see.
