Review of Brooklyn (2015) by Sharon T — 20 Jan 2016

We saw this movie a few months ago. I decided to finally write a review because I am still thinking about it. Its such a simple story of a girl emigrating from Ireland to Brooklyn. She marries a young Italian and returns to Ireland to visit family and attend a wedding.

There she meets a man. She needs to decide if she wants to return to Brooklyn. I was glued to the screen and smiling with enjoyment the entire time. Saoirse Ronan is nominated for an academy award. She deserves to win.

You won't see this in theaters. But be sure to stream it or rent it. This is a date night movie that I enjoyed. Scott.
