Review of Brigadoon (1954) by Arica P — 10 Jun 2007

I always think of this as a Christmas movie because one of the tv stations back home always played it during the holidays. I agree that the songs run long and it does bog down in some spots, but overall, I do really love this and it's probably my favourite musical. It's pretty choppy...the directing was anything but consistent, but the story itself is timeless.

I love depressing movies and this is probably the closest to a depressing musical you can find.
