Typical Aussie humour showing typical life in country Australia in the 1960?s. Like all good comedy it sits on the knife edge of stereotypes v truth. The Church, germans, country women, Rolf Harris, Aborigines are all targetted..... It was just plain funny but, like Crocodile Dundee, the humour is very Australian.
Listen to the words of the song the boy sings in response to be accused of theft...... sad, true, with a dose of funny.
