Review of Boxing Helena (1993) by Michael K — 07 Jul 2007

I consider myself open minded. I want to like weird movies. I like my thoughts to be provoked. as long as it's not just a bunch of visuals and fucked up words for you to interpret according to what state of mind your in at the time. this does have some depth and exploration (however meagre) and is delightfully shocking in parts. I did find myself strangely curious to see what happens next, dispite the BAD acting and the BAD dialogue.

And why do movies need to leave you wondering if it was all a dream? what relevance does that add?

Worth a look, only if you've got some knitting...or something.
