I think this is a great exploration of classic American archetypes and their ability to slam your jaw right onto the floor. The film is like if the community depicted in Leave it to Beaver was subjected to the 120 days of Sodom.
Simply put, I couldn't not look away from this gripping, darkly funny, often horrific film. David Lynch is genius.
