Review of Becket (1964) by Erik W — 15 Nov 2007
Two of the greatest actors ever deliver outstanding performances in this powerful film adaptation of Jean Anouilh's Becket. Richard Burton and Peter O'Toole play the roles of Thomas Becket and King Henry II with Sir John Gielgud playing King Louis of France.
The entire cast is great making this one of the best films ever. Peter O'Toole would go on to play Henry II again in "The Lion in Winter" in 1968.
