Okay for an Australian film, but that's not really a recommendation. Well-acted characters, but the only remotely sympathetic one is just not developed enough for her behaviour to make sense. Keeps the viewer deeply immersed in the familiar and suffocating Australian Bleakness.
Even the ending that seems to have been meant as morally uplifting, has no firm foundation in what has gone before.
