Review of Appaloosa (2008) by Allan C — 28 Aug 2009
Written, produced, directed and starring Ed Harris. This is probably the best western since "Unforgiven", although this film is in the classic western mold and is anything but a revisionist piece.
The pacing of the film may not appeal to modern audiences, but for old west nerds like me, I loved the leisurely pace, ala John Ford's "My Darling Clementine". I can't wait to see what Ed Harris does next!
