Review of An American Crime (2007) by Ellen S — 09 Feb 2009

I had not even heard of this movie and rented it on a whim, and I'm very glad I did. This is an extremely disturbing movie where everyone, not just Gertrude abuse this poor girl. It was shocking to see how easily so many relatively "normal" people were able to commit such horrible things to someone that hadn't even hurt anyone.

It was very difficult to watch but but it has amazing acting and is a well told story.
