Acting is bad, carachters over the top, tacky costume, horrible dialogue, plot very unlikely from the beginning, friends? Do they even know each other? Premises are good but would have been better if the protagonists were actually giving away the impression of being friends at least.

Unfortunately the dinner looks like is inhabited by perfect strangers tortured by someone who is hated by everyone? what is going on? Ok twist in the end but too late to save the flick. but if u consider its a directing debut from a scream queen then its not so bad.
